Christina’s feelings on the oxford comma

I love it! I know some folks aren’t fans, my college journalism professors being among them, and I can respect that. Whenever I wrote for their classes, that final comma was never to be seen. However, in my personal writing the oxford comma will always have a place to call home because I look after and cherish those I love.

christina’s newest fitness venture

I’ve recently taken up Krav Maga self-defense classes, so I’m in training to be prepared for almost anything—except assembling IKEA furniture without messing up at least once. If we’re ever in a hostage situation and our captor is slow, blind, and untrained, I could totally save us.

Something Christina owns way too many of

Bookmarks! I own 47 bookmarks and don’t plan to stop collecting anytime soon. But it’s fine because they’re all from a small business I love, so really, I’m just supporting the arts.

As evidenced by my intense love of Pinterest, I appreciate an organized and aesthetic life, and that extends to my hobbies. Every book I read gets a carefully chosen bookmark that perfectly matches its cover.

See!

christina’s Biggest Flex

In kindergarten, I won first place in the North Carolina State Fair Art Show. I retired from painting competitions immediately thereafter and left the game while I was still on top. Some may say I peaked early, but I say I knew when to walk away. I think five-year-old me would’ve done well in Vegas.

Christina’s thoughts on the 49ers 24-25 season

This season I rode a famous rollercoaster called “The Madden Curse”. It was a rollercoaster filled with poorly coached 4th quarters, injuries, and some questionable reffing (but that’s just the take of an opinionated girl in her 20s with BBQ stains on her Jerry Rice jersey). Did things go the way I wanted? Of course not, but so is the life of a 49ers fan. Through the great seasons and the cursed ones, I will forever remain a proud member of the 49er Faithful.
